If you have updated your copy of Microsoft Word for Mac and it is no longer working appropriately, you will need to reinstall the program from the original installation media. Don't update to the latest version of Microsoft Word until you are sure the problem that made you roll it back has been resolved. I am using Word 11.2.0 and have never done any updates.
